John and Brian Ditchfield first registered Halton Fabrications Ltd in 1973. The prime function of the company at that time was to offer to industry in general and the motor industry in particular, a complete one company (Turnkey) service installing or relocation plant and equipment. Although Ford Motor Company was the main client in those days, many major companies used this service on a regular basis.
